Pöstlingberg

 
A visit to the Pöstlingberg lifts the hearts of not only children: after a ride with the historic Pöstlingbergbahn (Replacement bus service until April 2009) a few steps carry you to the pilgrimage basilica, to the prospect point and the fairy tale grotto, where the mascot Sebiastian welcomes you to his fairy-tale world and the Dragon Express runs through the sparkling realm of the dwarves.

Halfway up the mountain lies the zoo, open all year round and home to over 130 different animals.

Tip: the ride with the Pöstlingbergbahn can be combined with a visit to the zoo and a pleasant walk along the Pöstlingberg hiking trail.
